  Cathy Reavis

  Name: Cathy Reavis

Staff Position: Graphic Designer & Website Administrator

Birthdate: December 4

Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia

Spouse’s Name: Vic

Children's Names: Naomi and Hannah

Education: BA – Business Administration/Accounting (Minor in Music) from Queens University

Favorites:

Food/Place To Eat:
Mizuho Japanese Restaurant (REAL Japanese Food)

Movie: It changes from month to month...
(Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Batman Begins, Indiana Jones)

TV Show: Star Trek: The Next Generation reruns

Vacation Spot:
My favorite is anywhere in the mountains, or Calabash, NC. (But, I would love to travel back to Austria!)

Book: If I can only choose one book, it has to be the Bible. But if I can choose a few books, it would also be The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, and the Arthur Tales by Stephen R. Lawhead.

Sports Team: My favorite sport doesn’t have teams (Judo)

Music: Contemporary Christian Music, Audio Adrenaline, (sometimes Switchfoot has an interesting song)

Scripture Verse: Psalm 16 (NIV)

Unusual Fact About You: I study Iaido (Japanese Sword drawing). Most people aren’t even sure what Iaido is....ask me sometime and I’ll explain.

Most Overused Phrase/Cliché: “Cool beans!” and “Whatever!”

Dislikes/Pet Peeves: Making mistakes (I’m a perfectionist), confused drivers, and long checkout lines

What Creeps You Out: CLOWNS

Anything Else You’d Like To Add: On the personality grid we’ve used at church a couple of times (Lion, Golden Retriever, Otter, Beaver), I scored extremely high on the Beaver side, and have some Golden Retriever to help calm me down. I love doing anything that’s creative (graphics, painting figurines, creating gifts), and I used to own a craft business. My husband and I are instructors for a Judo Club in Belmont.
